What is CBD and what are its effects?

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a substance from the family of phytocannabinoids originating from the hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa). Most of us are aware that hemp also contains the substance THC, which is psychotropic, but CBD does not cause negative psychoactive, intoxicating or toxic effects even in large quantities, and its use is legal compared to THC.

CBD Effects

CBD oil is used as a nutritional supplement and part of cosmetics also in Slovakia from 1.5.2021. Even WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) has allowed the use of CBD by professional athletes.

On our pages Mr. Chill presents only those effects of CBD that have been confirmed in significant scientific research and presented in the scientific community in professional publications. These researches are followed by other scientific works related to CBD oil, which are currently underway.

What is CBD used for?

CBD acts on the body using the endocannabinoid system, thanks to which it affects various organs and systems such as: brain, spinal cord, digestion, sexual organs, movement organs and many others.

Other uses of CBD oil in the treatment of diseases are being intensively researched, and in the coming years we can look forward to new treatment options using CBD oil and CBD products.
